Dress for your body type

Getting to know the body type and figure they are working with is one of the first things every expert stylist will do before dressing a star for a big awards bash. In your case, it means getting to know your own body and what works for you.

What do you want your wardrobe to do for your body shape. Decide if you want to look taller? Slimmer? Curvier? Then it’s just a matter of creating the illusion.

The number one rule for looking good, as every celebrity stylist will tell you, is wearing the right size clothing. You wouldn’t catch Cameron Diaz wearing clothes that are too big for her – so wear what fits. If you want to appear slimmer, the worst thing you can do is wear oversized pieces – nothing will make you look bigger quite like baggy clothes!
